We met the modern way—through the dating app Hinge! We were each other's first and only online date, meeting in October, 2022, at Jeni's Ice Cream in Nashville before heading to a movie at the Belcourt Theatre. We may or may not have been shushed by other moviegoers for whispering and laughing the entire time. The rest is history!

Danny teaches eighth-grade social studies at Legacy Middle School in Franklin, Tennessee, where he lives with his dog, Jimmie. He is originally from Big Bear Lake, CA, and moved to Tennessee for his first teaching job after attending the University of Jamestown in North Dakota. Danny is a big sports fan, and coaches cross country and baseball at his school.

Mary Louise grew up on Signal Mountain and moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University. She works in children's book marketing at Publisher Spotlight and lives in the city with her dog, Winston. After the wedding, she will move to Franklin, where she, Danny, and the dogs will live together as a family of four!
